members of the Friskies Cat Team, the Chef’s Blend Cat and the
sophisticated Fancy Feast Cat. Debbie Silverman has
coached cats, dogs, ducks, horses, sheep and chimpanzees for guest
appearances in films, television shows and commercials. She has been
working with Critters of the Cinema; the Los Angeles based animal training
company, for over five years. Debbie Silverman has participated in
numerous projects including the following television shows: “Beverly
Hills 90210,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “Star Trek: Voyager,”
“Third Rock From The Sun.” “General Hospital,” “Bold and the
Beautiful” and “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” Additionally, Debbie

Julie Andrews feature film, “The Princess Diaries,” directed
by Gary Marshall. Debbie Silverman
studied animal training at Moorpark College in California, where she
worked with monkeys, parrots, foxes, bobcats, llamas and ravens. While
still an undergraduate, Debbie Silverman began training animals for the
entertainment industry, including wolves, birds, big cats and a sea lion.
Some of her “students” have appeared in feature films such as
“Hook,” “Batman Returns” and “Monkey Trouble.” While
completing her academic training, Debbie Silverman also worked as a
volunteer zookeeper at both the Los Angeles and the Santa Barbara Zoos. Currently Debbie
Silverman devotes a great deal of her time to training cats and traveling
to cat shows across the country where she and her feline celebrities teach cat owners about the benefits of cat
training. Debbie Silverman and
her training skills have recently been featured in the national magazine
“Cat USA.” She also worked with the producers of a 26-week series
on cat training that was featured on the “Do It Yourself Network”
